When you carry a Rosary, Satan has a headache. When you use it, he collapses. When he sees you praying it, he faints. Let us pray the rosary every time, so that he’ll keep fainting. Maybe one day, he’ll have a stroke and never be able to work.

Rundown and partial success rate of my Lenten Sacrifice on Day 13
- The mandatory Friday sacrifice. The Catholic Church requires its devout followers not to consume meat of four-legged animals on Lenten Fridays. Most devout Catholics have veggies, fish and beans during this period but since I’m a true blue carnivore I can’t give up on my pork and beef and chicken just like that. So every Lenten Fridays I only have one meal with rice, viand, and if there’s dessert available. I failed last Friday, as there was a sumptuous breakfast feast of tapa, eggs and hot rice. Will have to continue till Easter Friday.
Soul Searching
Early this year I booked an eleven-day vacation with the office, wishing and hoping that by that time I’m just waiting for some paperwork to finish so I could fly to the land of lions and fishies. But up to this moment, there isn’t any word yet. Or as my grandaunt says, I should claim victory over it, it’s just that the perfect moment hasn’t arrived; but soon, soon it will arrive! I shall be patient!
I was also contemplating whether I should reserve that eleven days when that time comes, but the boss told me that there would be a lot of e-mailing to do. Being the good employee that I am, I decided to push through with the vacation. Even if in reality, there is nothing better to do here at home.
GUYS PLEASE READ THIS. ;) I wasn’t able to post it before because I left to visit my relatives somewhere in QC. ;p FEEL FREE TO REBLOG. ;)
